After exploring curiosity, protest, and a zest for life through the lens of knowledge and wisdom, poetry, prose, and photography convey resistance, anger, and devotion. Having journeyed through so many worlds, things, living beings, and forms of knowledge appear inextricably intertwined. And yet, both the poems and the photographic works reflect, in their serene compositions, a search for what is truly essential. Both forms of expression are grounded in a sense of earthiness, but also infused with hope through a longing captured in images and verses. (Excerpts from this volume)
Nach Ausmessen von Neugier, Protest und Lebenslust auf Wissen und Weisheit vermitteln Gedicht, Prosa und Fotografie Widerstand, Zorn und Hingabe. Durch so viele Welten hindurch gegangen erscheinen Dinge, Lebewesen und Erkenntnisformen unlöslich miteinander verflochten. Und doch spiegelt sich in den Gedichten wie in den fotografischen Arbeiten in ruhigen Kompositionen die Suche nach Wesentlichem wider.
